Yucheng Lu (陆昱成) |
Short Bio
I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at NYU Shanghai, where I lead the HeavyBall Research group. I am also affiliated with the Tandon School of Engineering at New York University.
Previously, I was a Research Engineer at Together AI, contributing to the development of inference engines and GPU kernels for large language and vision-language model serving. Before that, I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University, advised by Chris De Sa.
My research interests lie broadly in efficient modeling, hardware-aware training and inference algorithms, and the systems that bring them together at scale.
